MIKI HAÏYAMA

Miki Haïyama grew up and lives in Chiba, Japan. After studying graphic design in Denver, Colorado, she has been making various designs for the past 15 years, such as packaging (mainly for cosmetics and fashion accessories), logos and also publications for the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. 

Miki has always been interested in creating things that have a history. She is very interested in the mysterious and nostalgic world. After a trip to London, York and Edinburgh, she became more and more interested in this idea and was inspired to make a work that was accepted for the Liquitex Art Prize exhibition in Tokyo.
