Olivier Balez

Olivier Balez likes to get up early and is not afraid of jet lag. After having lived on three continents, he returns to live in France, in Angoulême, after a year's residency at the Maison des Auteurs in 2016. 

He regularly travels the coasts of the comic strip with some prestigious captains at his bord : Le Gouefflec, Pierre Christin, Didier Tronchet, Fabien Vehlmann and Lewis Trondheim.

And when the wind is blowing hard, it pulls on the press and the édition ! For the past ten years, he has continued his collaboration with the daily newspaper Le Monde.

When he sets foot on land, it's to work on the realization of tourist motorway signs in collaboration with APRR... So as not to lose the nord !
