Vanja Basic

Vanja Basic is a (almost) born artist... From 8 to 20 years old, she took drawing and oil painting lessons to help her develop her technique. At the time, very dreamy, she spent time drawing her future home.
This interest in our interaction with the environment pushed her towards a BTS in Space Design, then continued with a Bachelor and a Master in Global Design and Eco-design, where she discovered graphic design; a discipline that reconnected her to art and made her realize that visual communication was particularly close to her heart.

Today, as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator in Bordeaux, Vanja puts her sensitivity and the power of visual communication at the service of corporate image, but also of the cultural and artistic world. Her aspiration: to express their uniqueness so that they can better radiate, and thus create a connection with others.
In addition, she takes commissions for drawn portraits and custom art projects from individuals, always with as much love in these so personal works.

On the technical side, Indian ink is at the heart of his illustrations. This method allows her to draw with spontaneity and refers her to two influences that are dear to her: Impressionism and Expressionism. As for her colouring, it is digital and in the form of flat tints or rather vivid collages, in a Pop Art spirit.
