The association "For the eyes of the world" was created by Doctor Phat-Eam Lim. It supports the efforts of developing countries, mainly in the fight against blindness, but also in health, child protection and sustainable development.
Its action is exemplary. Indeed, from 2019 to 2020, on the two sites (hospital ship in Cambodia and clinic in Madagascar), 4956 ophthalmological consultations and 493 surgical interventions could be performed thanks to the help of many donors. 

About the image
This illustration was made by one of the members during the last mission in Madagascar.
The scene is behind the local hospital, at the only water point. Everyone is washing and quenching their thirst in full view of the cats and dogs chasing the rats. Women bathe their children, others scrub, wring out and hang out the patients' clothes.
Colour and black ink mingle in this drawing with its nervous and angular graphics, like a celebration of colour... and misery. A tribute to the families of hospitalized patients who have almost nothing to survive.
