Benjamin Chaud
Born in the Alps in 1975, Benjamin Chaud studied drawing at the Arts Appliqués de Paris and the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg. He has illustrated over 70 books, translated in over 18 countries, including Pomelo (Albin Michel Jeunesse), Une chanson d'ours, Adieu Chaussette and La Vérité sur mes incroyables vacances (Hélium).
A regular on the New York Times bestseller list, he won the Gold Medal of the Society of Illustrators of New York and was a jury member of theIllustrators Annual at the Bologna Book Fair in 2015. After Marseille and Paris, he now lives in the Drôme and is quietly specializing in drawing cross-eyed animals.
