Miki Haïyama

Miki Haïyama grew up and lives in Chiba, Japan.
After studying graphic design in Denver, Colorado, she has been making various designs for the past 15 years, such as packaging (mainly cosmetics and fashion accessories), logos, socks and also publications for the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.
Miki has always been interested in creating things that have a story. Her trip to London, York and Edinburgh a few years ago reinforced this idea and inspired her to make a work of art that was accepted for the Liquitex Art Prize exhibition in Tokyo.
Since then, she has gradually started to draw and paint to express her interest in a mysterious and nostalgic world.
